Diffusion
I listen to the sound of my daughter’s breath as I organize my thoughts by first organizing my aromatherapy closet. Labeling pipettes and going through my bottles of essential oils taking inventory on my precious goods. I stop and smell black pepper essential oil (it’s been a while, I thought to myself) as the spicy grounding aroma touches my nostrils. The guardian angel candle has been burning most of the day in our bedroom and sitting next to it are two little clay vases and one beach rock with a hollowed out dip just perfect for creating a natural diffuser. Earlier I had poured a little opoponax and later a little clary sage and then some lemon. There were still remaining essences of jasmine, sandalwood, and patchouli from my last go around. As the room heats up from the intense summer heat the subtle scents lift from their place of rest and take flight to clear and transform the room. I feel comforted by the spiritual bouquet.
